I ordered a portable AC unit online from the store, as I went to the store itself to get one, but had to order. Employee ordered it for me, it arrived at my house, it's a great unit, but does not work on my new back sunroom, so I called the store to return it, they said sure, bring it in. I drove 12 miles to the store, they said I needed an RA#, so I wasn't told that, but they said they could call corporate and get it, so they called corporate while I was there, said they could not give me RA# since I ordered it online from the store, and they would not take the unit back. So I was then told I'd be getting an email with return instructions, store said they could not help me repackage it and that I would need to pay for shipping, so then I received an intimidating email stating how if everything is not in order I would not get the full refund, on top of paying a 15% restock fee, so now I have a unit I can't use, and it will cost me up to $200 in shipping and restock fees, plus when they unloaded the unit from my car, and back to my car, two parts were lost, so now I have an expensive unit without all of the parts and looking to forfeit even more money. I was just in the Northern tool & epuipment store in North Charleston and I asked two different workers in the store about a part I needed the First Gentleman told me to go look for in on the first aisle so I tried looking so after I couldn’t find it I went back to see if I could find help I ran into a young lad folding up clothes and I asked her for assistance, she was so rude and didn’t want to walk with me to locate the part that I needed. She happened to call a gentleman on the radio and he came to assist me I was very grateful to him. But those other two need some better training and customers service.

I bought three generators from this place. One Honda generator I got it home and Crunk it. It started bellowing white smoke. I purchased two 5000 W. Power horse generators both of those were also duds. Don’t recommend purchasing generators from these folks. B was ut I will say they do have good customer service and they were willing to work with me to get me my money back.

May 20, 2026. I purchased 4, 27 gallon totes (black with yellow lids). I grabbed the 4 totes and then grabbed the lids got home with them and discovered the lids didn't fit. I took them back and found that they didn't have the lids to fit the containers. The cashier had to call a manager up front to give me a refund and they were talking like they both knew the lids were wrong. Now, this is when I got pissed, because they should have removed them from the frigging sales floor once they were informed of the issue. So hard to find good help these days.
